Revenue systems audit and fix

A fixed-scope project that checks the systems your revenue depends on, ranks what is broken by impact, fixes what you approve and leaves a change log behind.

Who it is for

Founder-led businesses spending money on a website, ads or marketing tools without full confidence in the numbers. Typical signs:

  • GA4 shows sales or leads that don't match what actually came in.
  • Ads are running, but nobody can say which ones produce revenue.
  • The business barely appears in Google for anything except its own name.
  • Several people or agencies have set things up over the years and nobody owns the whole picture.

Where revenue leaks

Every fault below was found in a real audit, including on our own previous website.

  1. Being found

Pages told search engines not to index them. Page titles cut off in results.

  2. First click

Contact buttons pointing at a form that had been deleted. Several different labels for the same action.

  3. Measurement

Every analytics event counted as a conversion. Purchases recorded with a value of zero.

  4. Ad platforms

Google Ads optimising for baskets, not sales. Shopping listings promising free returns the shop didn't offer.

  5. Follow-up

Email campaigns sent without tracking tags. A contact address on an inbox nobody could open.

  6. Ownership

Admin rights held on personal accounts. A domain registrar unable to reach its owner's email.

What gets checked

  • Website and search

Page titles and descriptions, headings, indexing, sitemap, robots rules, structured data, broken links, mobile speed and Search Console coverage.

  • Analytics and tags

GA4 events and key events, data retention, Tag Manager containers and duplicate installs, and whether purchase or lead values arrive correctly.

  • Consent

Whether the cookie banner appears for new visitors, and which cookies are set after someone clicks decline.

  • Ad accounts

Google Ads conversion goals, Merchant Center shipping and returns accuracy, Meta pixel and Conversions API, and spend against results.

  • Email and CRM

Campaign tagging, live automations, and how enquiries move from the website into a follow-up process.

  • Ownership and access

Who holds admin rights on each account, and whether the business could lose access if one person left.

What you receive

  • A ranked findings report: critical, high and medium, each with its evidence and a proposed fix.
  • An approval list in plain language, so you decide what changes.
  • The fixes themselves, made one at a time and checked on the live site.
  • A change log with before, after and undo steps for every change.
  • A baseline and a short handover so your team can check the numbers without us.

What it is not

It is not an automated SEO score or a list of generic tips. Every finding is specific to your accounts and checked by hand. If the main problem turns out to be your offer, pricing or conversion rate rather than your tracking, the report says so.

Platforms covered

Shopify, Wix and other website platforms; Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Ads and Merchant Center; Meta Business; Klaviyo and similar email tools.
